The main goals
of the College are to expand the current knowledge in Nuclear
Medicine among Nuclear Medicine Physicians and other Medical
Specialists and Health Care Professionals as well as to promote
friendship and professional relationships among members of all
Countries.
The International College of Nuclear Medicine Physicians is a non
profit organization.
Nuclear Medicine is the study of the molecular basis of disease.
Nuclear medicine images are metabolic "maps" of the function of the
human body.
Molecular
imaging is the visualization, characterization, and measurement of
biological processes at the molecular and cellular levels in humans
and other living systems. Both endogenous molecules and exogenous
probes can be molecular imaging agents.
