PET - Metastatic Melanoma

 

71-year-old male with metastatic melanoma on the right shoulder discovered 4/95.CT performed 5/95 showed multiple pulmonary lesions and the patient underwent chemotherapy 6/95 and 9/95.A whole-body FDG PET scan performed 10/95 showed numerous lesions throughout the body.After the PET scan showed multiple lesions the chemotherapy scheduled for 11/95 was cancelled due to the unfavorable prognosis.
